The company is a global leading Commodities, Financial Futures and Options Brokers, with a strong and established market reputation spanning over thirty five years.
They are looking for an IT member of staff to support the technology within the the company's Hong Kong office and also be comfortable visiting customers (predominantely in HK & China) and assisting them where required with their electronic trading platforms and IT related issues. The role is a varied one and includes trade support, customer interaction, application support and networking
Experiences from Marex/ Newedge/ MFGOBAL/ PHILIPS / NITIXIS / RJO / JP / ADMIS will definitely advantage
Main Responsibilities:
• Providing telephone and direct support for office users (PC’s, Cisco Network etc) and the company's customers covering all aspects of trading and ensure incidents are correctly diagnosed and quickly rectified.
• Support and monitor our in house trading system (STAR) and other ISV systems (ie GL, Metatrader 4) as applicable.
• Provide telephone and onsite visits to fix basic network issues for remote clients to ensure the trading systems are available all times
• Escalation and monitoring of calls to ensure a timely response and resolution of issues.
• Provide feedback to developers to enhance the trading systems used by the company
• Providing training for new customer on trading systems
